A poem that bobbed to the surface in a jungle swamp at night

I do indeed have a penchant for erasure poetry right now. It may last forever.

I hope you enjoy my latest offering as much as I enjoyed discovering it.

devour exchanges of madder meaning
stitch blood
sweat songs
poetry is a welcome smile
unusual to spend an afternoon
heartfelt and heartless

An anti-Valentine’s poem or three

roses don’t say
they’ve got the blues
they just wilt away
& stare at their shoes.

roses are dead
violets untrue
sugar’s no treat
& neither are you.

roses are blood
violets confused
my soul is ablaze
in a riot of hues.

roses are soul
violets the blues
sugar don’t cane
the drums like you.

roses will bid
violets adieu
it’s why I always
hid from you.

roses forgive
violets compel
I would never
kiss and tell.

*ironic sidenote: the goddess that is Morticia has a wonderful love life with soul mate, Gomez Addams, and therefore does not mourn love. However she does raise her eyebrows at the sweet saccharin sentiment of Valentine’s day.

A poem that fell through the clouds

Silence rubbing your cord to universe.
River depths beyond moments dissolve
dusk and infinity merge.
Everything is illusion.
You are goddess.
