The magnitude
of your imagination
thunders and shakes.
You conquer fears
with confidence.
You are the maker
of a great masterpiece.
You question the moon’s orbit
the power of the ocean
the grace of strangers.
Hypnotised, you laugh
into the great horizon.

Amazing you distilled such a fine surprising and satisfying poem out of the text. Illustrated beautifully but the effervescence was in final stanza.

Thank you so much, Brendan. What a lovely description. I love that you use the word “effervescence.” 🙂

Stop reading my mail, Sunra! LOL. “Hypnotized”….great old favorite of mine by early Fleetwood Mac. Love this!

love those lines, and i like that the last two lines of original text didn’t get blacked out, that’s a nice background element, a nice echo, very well done!

At first I read “fears conquer you”. I like your version better.

Thank you, Manja! Yes, it’s easy to read it that way. I suppose there are times when a fear conquers us though and then we have to vanquish it somehow.
