The world has been made in perfect design, though it hangs akilter and jostles between eureka and disaster. A perpetual day and a perpetual night turn and turn. There is still time and it’s not too late. Even though my love is a dust whirlwind of longing trying to find its way. Even though sands shift and the desert night is cold, cold. Even though we orbs have had it with this realm. Quiet joy bubbles somewhere, where the journey goes beyond and beyond.

*Title suggestions welcome. I have no idea what to title my writes sometimes.
*Congratulations, Argentina!!! Well-deserved ❤
*How are you all? 🙂
This is wonderful, Sunra. I love the idea of perpetual day and perpetual night. It’s so true! And yet contradictory. And I love the ending. A wonderful sweep of thoughts.

This is absolutely beautiful, dear Sunra! I loved reading it, such a soothing flow. “Perpetual” would be the perfect title as that sentence truly stood out to me. Amazing write as always my friend 🤍

Grace, thank you so much for this lovely comment ❤ Perpetual would be a good title 🙂 Appreciated, my friend.

A beautiful prose-poem, I’d call it! You use your repetitions with effortless ease;
they feel intrinsic to the whole.
When stuck for a title, I sometimes use first line or part thereof. E.g. for this one, perhaps ‘Perfect Design’, or ‘Made in Perfect Design’. Or maybe the later phrase, ‘Beyond and Beyond’. I also like Grace’s suggestion.

Thank you, Rosemary!! ❤️ That is really helpful. You know I totally forgot about using part of the first line and that’s a great go-to when you can’t think of a title! Appreciated 🌟

I like “Piece of Prose” — better than giving everyone a piece of your mind! 😂 Great ruminations, Sunra.

I love this whole blob.
What comes to mind, title wise is “Wheel of Fortune” aka the tarot card, perhaps because I pulled it recently 🤔
But also this dance between that opening line, single words and repetition reminds me of the card ; turn and turn — time, shift — cold cold — orbs, realm — beyond and beyond

Thank you, Lizzy, for enjoying that particular blob! 😀 Love your thoughts on it, that is a great title!

This is a lovely piece of writing, with the repetitions. Even though the Earth seems badly damaged, and geopolitics threaten to tear it apart, we would like to think that common sense will prevail in the end. yes, quiet joy bubbles somewhere. 🙂

“hangs akilter and jostles between eureka and disaster” and “Even though we orbs have had it with this realm. Quiet joy bubbles somewhere”, those are beautiful lines. wow, really enjoyed this.
and i didn’t know damon albarn had a band other than gorrilaz. i’m a huge fan of his, and now that i know he has more music out there that i have never heard, its like christmas twice in one year! very cool

Thanks so much, Phillip! Yes, Damon Albarn was in Blur from the start, that was his first band and they were together for years even while he started the Gorillaz. Pretty sure they’re still together even though they haven’t gigged for ages. Though this tune is from their last album which was out about 20 years ago. I’m surprised you haven’t heard of them, they were so famous, but perhaps their fame didn’t cross the pond. You must know this one?
