Yes. Feast your eyes. I am centrepiece, after all. Summer’s expanding belly come to laze, somnolent. The sun, a kind benevolence on this good life. Eat your fill and be done. I siesta, waiting for you, of all the ways you’ll bite . . .

. . . you can read the rest of the poem here.

My goodness you took my breath away with this one, Sunra!! 😍 Many many congratulations on having your poem published in Visual Verse. I especially love; “The grape is an equation of elements and asks for alchemy. It wants crushing, to brouhaha. And then to languish.” 💖💖

  2. Here comes a catfish chased by a dogfish, look out for that piranha!

I’ve been watching the adventures of Leon the Lobster on Youtube. This fellow bought a live lobster at the grocery store but kept him as a pet named Leon. He took the rubber bands off his claws and dumped him in this big fish tank. he feeds him prawns and stuff, and he has a cave made of rocks and stuff that he likes and when he molted he was all shiny and bright (and bigger!) and no more rubber band marks on his claws. Leon’s a star, he even has merch! I ❤ Leon1

    1. Wow, I just googled it and watched some of the footage. That is actually quite amazing. I think the lobster is a spectacular creature and I love that this guy took him home and kept him as a pet. Leon the lobster is adorable! 💖
